Pathophysiological Manifestations of Kapha Dosha Liquefaction in Vasant Ritu: A Penta-locational Analysis and Neuro-Psychological Management

Jain Pankaj, Harish Purohit
The seasonal transition from Shishira (winter) to Vasanta (spring) marks a critical phase of Kapha Prakopa (vitiation). Increased solar thermal energy triggers the "melting" or liquefaction of accumulated Kapha, leading to its systemic mobilization. This article provides a granular analysis of how this process affects five specific anatomical sites—Tarpaka, Avalambaka, Bodhaka, Kledaka, and Shleshaka. Furthermore, it explores the psycho-pathological surge of Tamo Guna and the specific cardiac vulnerabilities related to Avalambaka Kapha. By utilizing the framework of Shat-Kriyakala (Six Stages of Disease), this paper proposes a multi-dimensional management strategy to prevent chronic morbidity.
